so hold the press
we get these moments at times
and it's like easy smooth with nice overtones
the kids are also thusly affected
we eat then play together on my late nite
monday
home after 8pm with dinner ready and hungry family
started just before my arrival
we are a happy family for these fleeting moments
before chaos sends us reeling into our corners coming out
ready to fight
verbal jabs flying
but not tonight
tonight is different
and i wish we could reproduce it time and time and time again.
